I guess it was only a matter of time… and now surely only a matter of weeks before Arsenal FC falls into the hands of the Russians, Americans, Arabs or another…

With the disintegration of the board, I suspect goes the lockdown agreement. My interpretation is that our new MD is all for attracting big money (bored and lonely billionaires) to the club. Maybe this has gone down about as well as Hitler did in Europe.

I’m just worried that the last great traditional thing about our club (being English through and through, players exempt) is about to be p***ed up the wall for the sake of keeping up with Chelski and the rest of the sellouts. Some people may say “we need the backing to compete” and all that old crap. If I am not mistaken, did we not go a whole season unbeaten on a shoestring only a few seasons back?

The supporters have endured enough “change” over the last ten years. Firstly they changed the club’s crest without even consulting the fans, and even after several years, I still dislike it. We have been asked several times to buy a BLUE away kit!!! Do you ever see the Spuds in Red?? The biggest pain of all came when we had to leave our home ground of nearly a century. We accepted all these things in the name of “change” and deep down we all knew that “home” just wasn’t big enough anymore.

It now seems we have to change our colours of St George to the stars and stripes!!!
