Apologies (and Alex Fynn)

We’ve been offline, so are a little late in plugging an interesting talk this evening at Birkbeck College

Apologies (and Alex Fynn)

The book that Alex Fynn co-wrote last year.

Firstly, apologies. Onlinegooner has been unable to post anything since Saturday due to technical issues at our service provider’s end. We were completely offline yesterday and this morning. Hopefully, normal service is resumed.

First up, we’d have given this a plug earlier in the week, but if you are in central London this evening and can get along to Birkbeck College, then Alex Fynn, co-author of Arsènal: The Making of a Modern Superclub will be giving a seminar/talk for a sports management course. However, it is open to all guests and as the meeting is held under ‘Chatham House’ rules (meaning what’s said cannot be reported) he is promising a revelation or two about Arsene Wenger and Arsenal. However, as it’s free, don’t go asking for your money back if you’re disappointed!

It should be a good way to spend an hour or so, as the chat will be not only from Alex but mixed in with questions from the audience as he goes along. As the other co-author of the above mentioned book, I may be asked to concur a point or two. Alex will have copies of the book to sell. It’s likely to sell out totally at some point in the next month or two once shop stocks disappear as there are no copies remaining at the warehouse, so come along and buy one tonight. Alex and I will even sign it for you!

Full details of the talk can be found here.

Birkbeck College is between Russell Square and Gower Street. Nearest tube is Russell Square and there’s a map here.

Entrance is free and all welcome. Supposed to start at 6, but I know these things. Call it 6.15. Maybe see you there.
