Arsenal’s relegation on Match of the Day

Lineker: Something not quite right?

Arsenal FC have it seems, been finally, and to the joy of Lineker and Hansen, relegated to the final slot of highlights on the BBC’s pathetic excuse of a highlights show… why?

You just can’t please some people. For years we have been criticized for not being able to grind out results when we are not playing well. When we do what happens? We get criticized for not winning “5-3” as mentioned by the scouse knobhead on Saturday’s show.

Ok… I know that Saturday’s game was hardly worthy of top billing, but there was a time not too long ago that we were always first or second up on the show. It now seems as though Aston Villa and Martin O’Neill are the Beeb’s new darlings of Saturday night entertainment. That is until Arsenal get beaten again. You can put your house on us being first up when we lose to another set of pie-eaters at some point. I really do hope, against all the odds, we can keep this unbeaten run going for another six or seven games and sneak our way a bit closer to the pacesetters.

That would give the BBC a problem with scheduling then! Or maybe they are simply struggling for viewers and want to save the crowd pullers to the end! I for one, will not be watching MOTD again… I still say there is something not quite right about Gary Lineker!
