Wembley: Silver and red members would like a day out too

Justice was served on Tuesday night. Albeit very late and controversial, but how many times have we been on the wrong end of it?

What the hell is Phil Brown on about? How dare he make remarks about our great club regarding the alleged spitting incident. "For their club captain Cesc Fabregas to spit at my assistant at the end of the game shows you what this club is all about." Well I’m sorry, but Hull City aren’t exactly a superpower in football are they? Phil Brown is the sorest loser I’ve ever come across. I think he’s just trying to get a bit of publicity as he’s in the dock at the FA in a few days over a spat with Joe Kinnear earlier in the season. Even then, Kinnear told him where to get off. The way Wenger was mocked in the Setanta studio afterwards was also appalling, but all I can say to that is look at the people you had on there. To me, the Brown represents pondlife. Yes they beat us earlier in the season, but a) we’ve now beaten them twice since and b) they might not be in the Premiership next year if their league form doesn’t pick up.

We now march on to Wembley, but I’m disappointed that the club has only been allocated 30-odd thousand tickets and that they are being offered to season ticket holders and away scheme members only. I think that’s diabolical. Both the number of tickets allocated and the club’s ticketing policy for the game. Season ticket holders I can understand but why away scheme members as well? What about the red and silver members? I think they should be allowed a day out at Wembley as much as season ticket holders. It just shows how much the club cares about some of its fans who spend their hard-earned pounds to follow the team and this is how they are rewarded. I know it’s on television but it doesn’t beat actually being there.

Come on Fiszman and co, let some of us "commoners" get in on the act for once.
