Turn Wembley red for the semi

A call to arms ahead of Saturday 18th April

Turn Wembley red for the semi

A lot more of this v Chelsea!

‘We’re the famous Arsenal and we’re going to Wem-ber-lee!’

How good did it feel to sing that song after beating Hull in the quarter finals?

Amazingly, it has been nearly ten years since we last played at Wembley. Now we all loved Cardiff, and we had some greats days out (picking up a good few trophies on the way). But ‘We’re the famous Arsenal and we’re going to Cardiff’ hardly had the same ring to it.

We return to Wembley, version 2.0, on the 18th of April, on the trail of our first trophy since another of those great days out in Cardiff in 2005.

Think about how much you want us to beat Chelsea, think about how much you want the chance to return to Wembley in May, and make sure you show it and shout it on the day of the semi final.

Let’s see those colours, let’s hear those songs, and really get behind the boys on our day out at Wembley. It’s not the Scousers, it’s not the Mancs, it’s not… Swindon Town, so no danger of colour clash and the need for away kits, so let’s turn our end of Wembley RED RED RED on the 18th and show our support.

Our great club has a proud FA Cup tradition which even our young players are aware of, so the eleven out on the pitch on the day will be doing their best to drag us to another final, and the young and old Gooners in the stands must do the same.

Wear red, bring a scarf, bring your AFC flags, shout and scream for the Cannon on our chests, and show our passions in the right way. There are a couple of ex-Arsenal players in the Chelsea squad, but who cares? Get right behind the Red and White, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll be back in May for another day out.

We know how much it means to get to another Cup final, and we must do our best to make it happen. Destiny awaits. No Arsenal apathy, not this time, not at this time of year.

Arsenal Fans have had a bad press recently, but we can turn all of that on its head with a great performance when the team needs it the most.

Bring the colours, bring the noise.

Bring it on.

We are the Arsenal and we are the best…
