Arsenal could do the Double again!

A run of matches undefeated has suddenly made a season of supposed transition into one that just might be a bit special

Arsenal could do the Double again!

Arsene: Why did we ever doubt?

What a difference a month makes! A bad August followed by a fantastic September with five wins and a draw.

Wenger is blooming on his tenth anniversary and you can feel the momentum is beginning. We have weak opposition in October and if the side continues on a spree of three points every game a so-called sullen start is suddenly solid and in pace with our rivals. Can you believe they had us at 18-1 for the title at one stage? I am not saying we are odds on favourites, but a certain ex-Chelsea player has brought maturity to the side going on more forward forays than the one that went in the opposite direction.

Spurs are almost out of the title race and Champions League positions already, so we won't have to swat any flies around May next year.

Our brilliant boss is seen to have a laugh with Fabregas and Van Persie at Man U and Charlton along the touchline after a game. If we do win anything, this will be my memory of this season. The master celebrating graduate honours with the pupils. Fabregas the through ball and Van Persie the screamer from outside the box. All of a sudden we are scoring goals from high crosses supplied by Eboue. Shots outside the box from Rosicky. Hleb is on form. Adebayor has his confidence back. Henry scoring with his head. Ljungberg seems to have gained another gear. Walcott and ‘The Beast’ to come.

Man U look short up front. Chelsea look a lot weaker than last year.

I am very optimistic, only some dubious refereeing decisions and injuries can stop us now.

I don't know what our prices are at the moment, but if you can get something on. We were 100-1 for the double in 1998, so anything is possible.
