I am writing about the proposed formation of a North East Essex branch of an Arsenal Football Supporters Club.

The club put a small piece on my behalf in the home programme v Blackburn Rovers regarding my proposed branch of the Arsenal Supporters Club. We have a decent number of supporters who have shown an interest, but need a minimum of 50 before asking for official approval. So we are a few short.

I have started a yahoo group for those interested.

It is hoped that we can form/create a healthy group of members initially through this forum. Then be in a position to be approved by the main Arsenal Football Supporters Club.

There is a branch of the Supporters Club already in existence for those who live in South East Essex. So, we are looking at members of this group to be from towns / villages in North East Essex, e.g.:- Clacton, Halstead, Colchester, Chelmsford, Braintree, Witham, Maldon.

To join, you must ideally be a current member of The Arsenal Membership scheme (Silver, Red, Gold or Platinum).
