So we all love the Yank now. Nice moustache, likes sport, blah blah. Never been to the Arse though, no interest in the club – apart from making some money out of it. The only half-decent Yank in Football is Randy Lerner up at Villa. Hicks, Gillette, the Glazers are there to take money out and who knows if Stan isn’t cut from the same cloth.

Usmanov might look like Jabba the Hut but he does watch the team, he does have a box and he has challenged the board to put some money up for Arsene to spend. Of course they hide away in tax exile and keep their heads down talking about the ownership structure etc etc.

Face it, Arsenal are already owned by overseas investors – the only question is which one do we want. The ugly sod who seems to want to put money in and is interested enough to watch the games (and remember the Russian Abramovich is the only foreigner to put money into a club without looking for a return) or the moustache who has never been, doesn’t seem arsed about ever coming over and hasn’t offered to put money up. Tough call or what?
