Okay - a call for assistance…

The man who puts our podcasts together - using garageband on an apple mac - is unable to continue. So we are looking out for a technically minded individual who can record the chat/songs/sketches and edit them into an mp3.

If you use different software and/or a pc, that's not an issue. As long as an mp3 is produced at the end of it, that’s all that is required. If necessary we can provide an apple mac and a microphone if getting your equipment to the venue we record in is a problem (say if you are coming from work).

The recordings take place about once a month in the Highbury area, normally on Monday evenings. There’s no payment, but food and drink is paid for on the evening of the recording.

If you are interested in doing the hosting of the podcast itself along with the technical stuff, there is no reason you can't do both, as that would simplify matters, but that isn't the main thing. Yours truly can always do that.

UPDATE: We’ve had contact from a potential candidate who looks well qualified to help us out. So at the moment, we are going to let him loose on the podcast panel and see what results. If for any reason, it isn’t a match made in Gooner heaven, then we’ll be running another one of these at some point in the future, but all being well, there won’t be any need.
