I have just watched the Spanish Liga review on Sky Sports and they say that Ashley Cole is definitely on his way to Real Madrid in the summer and it’s an already done deal. We are already way behind Chelsea and I can only see it getting worse with Liverpool now on the up. What is going on at Arsenal? Why did we sell Vieira ? Why is this news of Ashley Cole coming out now? Why has Henry not signed his contract if it’s not money he wants?

It’s about time the board came up with some answers and told the fans the truth. I am a Clock End season ticket holder and am seriously considering not renewing at the end of the season. I am fed up with reading that our best players are leaving and it looks like that will happen. Why can’t we go to Barcelona and say ‘Ok if you want Henry, we want Ronaldhino’ or go to Real Madrid and say ‘Ok if you want Ashley Cole, we want Raul.’

If Henry and Cole do go - added to Pires probably on his way and Bergkamp retiring - our possible team at the Wengerdome (depending on who Wenger buys, which probably will be some under 21 from the French third division) our team could be: Lehmann, Lauren, Toure, Campbell, Clichy, Ljungberg, Fabregas, Gilberto, Hleb, Van Persie, Reyes. Subs – Almunia, Senderos, Eboue, Song, Quincy.
