Apologies for the loss of service


Last Wednesday, we got an email from our hosting company. They told us it was the final reminder to make our annual payment. It was also the first time we hade been told that the renewal was due and how much the fees were for this year.

Anyway, no worries. It said we had 14 days to pay, so on we merrily went for a couple of days before Friday evening and the appearance of a page many of you may have viewed which stated we had not renewed and there was no service until we did.

Nice touch.

Anyway, payment was made on Saturday morning and finally, on Monday evening, we find the site is back up.

We can only apologise that there was no onlinegooner for the best part of three days. Normal service will be resumed with a couple of new pieces Tuesday lunchtime.

It’s good to be back and we can only state once again that we have been caught out on this occasion by the somewhat unorthodox methods of our hosting company.

Won’t happen again (we’ll make sure of that)
