Wenger could walk if board fail to back him against FA

Time for Arsenal to make the FA accountable for their ineptitude and persecution by taking the matter to a higher authority.

Wenger could walk if board fail to back him against FA

Arsene – See you in court?

I have an abject poverty of words when trying to describe my contempt for the UFA (Useless FA). So it has now decided to back up the ref’s report from the Carling Cup final’s exhibition match of ‘pass and move’ football by asking Arsene Wenger to explain his comments calling the linesman a liar. Arsene in front of the UFA committee would be like George Galloway in front of the American Senate committee, our French multi-linguist will destroy them. For a start he did not call any official a liar, He said, when questioned by a journalist that if an official accused Adebayor of hitting a player, then that accusation was a lie. And as we have seen Adebayor did not hit any player and his behaviour was as a result of being wrongly sent off.

Listening to Arsene I think he is ready to explode. His tag of being an unlucky manager has clearly been shown in the last two cup matches and now I think he will go all the way with this charge and demand Arsenal stand up against the UFA and support the Arsenal players.

This time though it will set a precedent, because an FA charge connected to activities on the pitch will I believe, be challenged outside football circles and by a legal team treating the FA action as a civil matter. The useless FA will of course lose and this will then open the floodgates for other clubs to challenge future dubious charges, leaving the UFA as a body broken and discredited.

This body is like a government quango. This is the same organization that built a ground costing three times the budget, four years late in completion and still counting, allowed two Argentinian players to join a football club with everybody knowing the deal was dodgy. West Ham are now going to be slaughtered for something that the UFA as the governing body should never have allowed to happen in the first place and we of course all know how they behave towards women in their organization.

This matter will have severe repercussions and Arsenal had better not blink first because if they do I think Arsene may walk. The years of frustration and the easy way teams like Bolton, Blackburn etc are allowed to break the laws of the game to prevent a proper football match from taking place have taken their toll and we are at a watershed. Football owes Arsene a hell of a lot, the p*ss artist culture of the game has been driven out by his preparation procedures for his team and when you listen to the pathetic ramblings of ex players on Talkbollocks like Alvin Martin, Jason Cundy and wait for it Mickey Quinn telling Arsene he is out of order you know it is time to stand up and fight our corner.

We have as a club committed the least fouls yet are the most fouled against team that clearly shows we are not a team out of control. Lardpard’s behaviour was understandable as he had been passed into a stupor by our young team and was so frustrated that a punch up was the only way he could make a mark on the game. And when you consider the involvement Lardpard had in the “bust up” you have to conclude as Arsene did that he stayed on the pitch because he was an England player. (Watching Lardpard’s pathetic performance must make you understand why England are such a poor football team.)

David Moyes sent referees a video trying to prove that Andy Johnson was not a diver (that is taking the p*ss) - did the UFA charge him? No, he was supporting one of his players - and that is what our manager is doing. Arsene is now trying to redress the bias against us after Cardiff and I hope we give him all the support we can muster and urge the board to draw a deep breath and tell the UFA that we fully support our manager and as for your charges “bring it on”.
