So, with a player made in the Brazil but now a Croatian national, Arsenal have finally made their first signing of the summer.

I was sent a link to this excellent Guardian article on the player written before anyone was aware of Arsenal’s interest. Thanks to Gooner 48 for that - just read it and you will get a buzz that we might just be on the verge of watching another Arsenal legend in the making, whilst addressing the finishing problems so apparent last season.
