Alisher Usmanov is now Arsenal’s biggest shareholder

Usmanov: he’s not going away…

Onlinegooner has been reliably informed that the Alisher Usmanov vehicle Red & White Holdings has today purchased more shares, taking them above 24% and almost certainly above the 24.1% of shares held by Danny Fiszman. An official announcement confirming the development is expected from the club on Monday.

Should Usmanov subsequently buy out Stan Kroenke’s 12.4%, he would then own over 36% of the club.

The extended lockdown agreement announced at the club’s October AGM has obviously not dissuaded Usmanov from pouring more money into his pursuit of Arsenal.

For Arsenal supporters who wish to get involved in campaigning on the issue of the club’s ownership, the Arsenal Supporters Trust is the organisation to join.
