In the pantheon of Arsenal cult heroes, they don’t come much bigger. Oleg Luzhny is scheduled to attend the Arsenal Supporters Gala Dinner 2008 on Saturday May 24 at Emirates Stadium.

He’ll be joined by Nigel Winterburn, Ray Parlour and a certain Perry Groves. Technically, it’s a ten year anniversary celebration of Arsene Wenger’s first double, but who cares if Oleg and Perry were somewhat er… marginal to the Gunners in 1997/98. They’ll have anecdotes to relay and that’s all that matters at these dos.

Organised by AISA and REDaction, this annual fundraiser benefits both Nick Hornby’s TreeHouse charity and the Willow Foundation.

Tickets are £69 for AISA members and £77 for others. Tables of ten are £690. For that you get a three course meal, starter drinks and a cracking evening’s entertainment. Dress code is smart casual.
