Relections on the sale of former Gunner Bentley to Tottenham

David who?

Motormouth Bentley (from www.guardian.co.uk)

Hello again fellow Gooners. I suppose like me you have been watching the transfer market and the fees being paid for some of these overpriced overrated players: £19 million for Robbie Keane, £15 million for David Bentley. I suppose it would be easy to watch all this and panic that are we are being left behind, but after witnessing us playing Stuttgart off the park last week in the second half with our kids yet again, I think we are in safe hands with Arsene.

Speaking of Bentley I have been reading about him wanting to stick it to us this season. He wants to score the winning goal at the Emirates. Bring it on you muppet. You weren’t good enough for us so you took a step down to go to Blackburn and if that wasn’t bad enough you sink even lower by going to “them”. He reckons he’s going to get stick at the Emirates, he doesn’t know the half of it.

Anyway enough of that loser, and back to the transfer market. Since I last posted here we have purchased Amauri Bischoff and are supposedly chasing after some Swiss guy from Udinese called Inler. Two more players not a household name even in their own households, but we trust you Arsene. Yet the one player we are looking for is the player our manager says he will buy - a player with Premiership experience.

The players I mentioned above Bischoff and Inler (if we get him) are both midfielders. The player we have to be getting surely has to be a strong centre half. We really are weak in that department and the problem has to be addressed before the transfer window closes at the end of August.

Just to finish off it’s been really good to see the young English lads on show in pre-season, Wilshire, Lansbury, Randall, to name but three. The future is very bright fellow Gooners.
