Shirt signed by Tony Adams – let’s raise some serious money

With the boredom of the International break gone, we’re back to normal business: The Arsenal. This weekend will be a first at the Rocket, REDaction are passing the running of the place over to the Herts & Beds Supporters club for the day so they can raise some money for charity. So it’s over to the Herts & Beds Boys:

Doors will open at 11am this Saturday with Soccer am on the big screen followed by Soccer Saturday and Chavski v Boro. As part of the day Arsenal Herts & Beds Supporters Club with be raising money for the Charity Get Kids Going!

To help promote the charity and Arsenal Herts & Beds SHOVEL has agreed to come down to the Rocket before the game and will be answering your questions. So make sure you give SHOVEL a big GOONER / REDaction Welcome.

There is no entrance charge for the rocket, but this week Herts & Beds will be collecting on the door so any donations are welcome and we’re hoping you’ll be kind enough to donate (suggest donation £1). There will also be raffle tickets on sale in the Rocket.

We will have THREE bars open to help ease those Q’s, the usual bar downstairs as well as the sidebar (The sidebar sells Magners in 2-pint pots & cans of Red Stripe). Then finally don’t forget the upstairs bar is open too. The bar upstairs is often VERY quiet so if you use this bar you WILL cut down on your q’ing time, therefore increasing that all important drinking time….

The usual BBQ food will be available in the Beer Garden before the game.

DON’T GET CAUGHT LEAVING EARLY (is there a fire drill?) OR GET STUCK IN ANY Q’s FOR THE TUBE AFTER THE MATCH. WHY NOT TAKE A NICE WALK BACK TO THE ROCKET AND HAVE A FEW BEVIES WHILE EVERYONE ELSE STRUGGLES TO GET HOME?

Doors open straight after the game and we’ll be showing ManUre v West Brom on the big screen, KO 5.30pm. Get Singing, Get Drinking, and enjoy your day.

After the game we will be holding an auction in aid of Get Kids Going! If you can’t make the game or the rocket you can bid now on items by emailing email us at [email protected] with the lot name and the amount you wish to bid. A reply will be sent to confirm your bid.
