More fallout from the atom bomb of last night’s disgrace

Win the League? We’re having a laugh

Gallas – Another mental meltdown?

Well where do I start? I am so f*****g annoyed this morning I feel sick in my stomach. Did you see them celebrating like they had won the Premiership/ Champions League? That’s the difference between us, that was their highlight of their season last night, grabbing a last minute draw against us.

Enough of them. 4-2 up with two minutes of normal time left, a two goal advantage with two minutes left, and we blew it. As soon as they got the third then the added time board went up four minutes you just knew it was coming, I suppose it might have been worse, though it doesn’t stop me feeling like we lost.

How many times has Arsene mentioned our mental strength and character in post match interviews in the years he has been at Arsenal? Probably every interview he has done or not far off it, well I didn’t see any f*****g mental character last night, just sheer bloody chaos. Well maybe, just maybe at last Arsene Wenger has seen the light regarding our so-called defence. Let’s face it once and for all - they are a liability to this team and I blame Gallas. He is not a leader - far from it - and I don’t know what the hell has happened to Kolo Toure. The guy just seems to have to lost it.

Every time we concede a free kick/corner it’s heart in our mouths time. And our back ups Djourou, Song and Silvestre hardly confidence inspiring, you’d agree? I blame the manager for this. Us fans who know nothing have been warning for ages now that he should overhaul the centre of our defence but he has stubbornly refused to do so. Now I guess their confidence is totally gone to pieces after last night and we are stuck with them for another two months until the transfer window re-opens.

I would loved to have been a fly on the wall in the Arsenal dressing room last night. Gallas stormed off the pitch on the verge of another mental meltdown no doubt about to give someone a slagging off. But I don’t think that dressing room has been together since Brumgate last season. I feel so down today it feels horrible, knowing we have to watch for another few weeks/months/years/ another one of our goalkeepers being beaten from the halfway line. Why does it always happen to us?

We really have to be honest and admit to ourselves that this team can’t win the Premiership. It hurts me to say it - I have followed Arsenal for more than 40 years - but there is simply isn’t enough experience in this team and no leadership whatsoever. I look through that team for an alternative and who is there?

Look at our rivals. Liverpool have Gerrard captain and Carragher back up, Chelsea have Terry captain and Lampard back up while Man Utd have Ferdinand captain with Giggs as back up - all highly experienced. It’s not rocket science if only our stubborn manager would address the problem ASAP.

Finally I’d just like to wish Tony Adams all the best at Portsmouth, he seems upbeat and confident and has made no secret of his desire to manage Arsenal. And although that’s still quite a way away yet, he does seem to be the natural and obvious heir to the throne. Stoke away Saturday - don’t they play a long direct game with a long ball into the centre of our defence? God help us.
