I have never seen such an uninterested, gutless and passionless group of players

Sagna: One of only three that seem interested

What is happening at the Arsenal?

I am not particularly a doom and gloom merchant but I feel that we need to make some radical changes to improve things and progress.

My Dad, brother and I have been to almost every home game for over 20 years and we have never been so disillusioned with the club/team. I have never seen such an uninterested, gutless and passionless group of players as the ones we have wearing our colours today.

I know that the money side of football has changed things beyond recognition and the players are mercenaries but is a little bit of courage and passion a bit too much to ask?

In my opinion we only have three players who seem like they are interested in playing for the club: Clichy, Sagna and Fabregas. Almost all the rest infuriate me with their indifference to whether they actually win or lose and I for one believe we need a right clearout. We have supposedly got the best youth coming through in the country? Right? Why not bung them in the first team as surely they will have more hunger than the prima donnas currently embarrassing us every time they play a team other than Man Utd.

When the players show some passion, fight and courage, this transmits to the fans who will reciprocate and generate an atmosphere that our new stadium needs.

I know Mr Wenger has criticised the atmosphere at the Grove, but who can really get behind a team that are clearly not interested half the time (unless it’s a big game when they seem to fancy it a bit more).

Do we need a change of coaching staff? Any of our famous old defensive line I am sure would be more than happy to assist the club, especially to assist with our defending, which is pretty shocking compared to what we were used to.

I reckon the board need to force the issue and grab the initiative as things have gone very stale. The last thing we want is our big stadium half empty when we are playing UEFA Cup games against the second tier of European football.

We need to wake up smell the coffee and change things NOW before its too late.

I think if Gallas left it could be a positive step, New captain (Clichy?), new start and a few fresh faces who know what it means to play for THE ARSENAL!
