Manu Zinsberger 6/10
Had to wait until after half time to face her first shot, a deflected effort that posed no threat to her clean sheet.
Laura Wienroither 6.5/10
The Austrian’s pace is a real asset in attack and defence, providing Jonas Eidevall a selection headache at right back in every game.
Lotte Wubben-Moy 7/10
A solid component in Arsenal’s changed defence, always vocal and encouraging her teammates.
Leah Williamson 8.5/10
Started at the base of midfield with Little and Maanum further forward in Blackstenius’ absence. Played a crucial role in Arsenal’s third goal, and scored their fourth. Her best performance in midfield for the Gunners according to Jonas Eidevall.
Rafaelle Souza 7.5/10
Probably one of the first names on Arsenal’s team sheet. Threaded some excellent through balls to launch attacks.
Noelle Maritz 7/10
Played on the opposite flank tonight but was comfortable on both feet in a position she is familiar with.
Lia Walti 8/10
Enjoyed plenty of space in the middle of the park to operate in, exploiting the gap between Reading’s front two and midfield four.
Kim Little 7/10
A master of her craft from twelve yards out. Freed up the space for Walti in the middle by playing further forward and preoccupying the Reading midfield.
Frida Maanum 8/10
Started upfront as Blackstenius dropped to the bench due to illness. Enjoyed some good chances, and took her best one a minute before half time to put Arsenal 2-0 up. Forced Evans’ own goal with a good low cross.
Katie McCabe 8.5/10
Deservedly won Arsenal’s spot-kick, with Jonas Eidevall’s decision to play the Ireland captain further forward justified instantly. Happy to drift centrally, including when she was fouled for the penalty, and her first time passes were so effective in putting Arsenal on the front foot.
Caitlin Foord 7.5/10
An unselfish assist for Maanum’s goal and some great work for Williamson’s. A huge piece in Arsenal’s puzzle.
Stina Blackstenius (Sub, 61’) 6/10
A straight swap with Frida Maanum
Victoria Pelova (Sub, 61’) 7.5/10
Impressed on Wednesday night and appeared on the right wing again
Kathrine Kuhl (Sub, 72’) 8.5/10
Showing glimpses of what she can do in cameos from the bench in attacking midfield, her best performance yet tonight to the delight of the Meadow Park faithful.
Lina Hurtig (Sub, 72’) 5.5/10
Returned to the side after injury, not seeing too much of the ball in the latter stages of Arsenal’s win.
Gio Queiroz (Sub, 83’)
Subs not used: Sabrina D’Angelo, Kaylan Marckese, Jen Beattie.
