Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has returned to Colney for the final part of his journey to recovery.

The 25-year-old has returned to Arsenal’s training ground after undergoing rehabilitation for a knee injury sustained in Qatar whilst playing for Brazil in the World Cup.

Arsenal’s number nine posted a video of him returning to the pitch for light training last week after eight weeks away from all action.

Jesus was an integral member to the Arsenal squad before his injury that forced him to undergo surgery to repair significant damage to his medial ligament.

What Arsenal won’t do is rush the Brazilian’s return, the injury has been said by experts to take 10-12 weeks to fully heal, a timescale that Gabriel is nearing.

His return is reportedly projected to be later this month/early March, where Arsenal will welcome their striker back with fixtures coming in heavy in decisive months of the season.

It’s fantastic to see such a prominent figure in the squad back at Colney with his teammates and we wish Jesus all the best on the home straight to his return.
