Arsenal Women will be without Lotte Wubben-Moy for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool.

The England defender dropped out of the Lionesses’ squad for Nations League fixtures last month and missed Arsenal’s 4-3 win over West Ham last weekend.

“Lotte’s not available,” Renée Slegers told the media on Friday at London Colney. “Chloe Kelly is cup-tied.”

“Lina Hurtig has been ill, so we’ll see if she’s going to be able to make it or not. As for the rest, everyone’s in contention.”

Arsenal have also been boosted by Rosa Kafaji’s return to training, with the former BK Hacken forward also featuring for the Gunners’ Under-21 side in midweek, as the Gooner exclusively reported.

Victoria Pelova also played against Southampton U21, having been back involved in Arsenal’s senior squad against West Ham for the first time since suffering an ACL injury in June 2024.

Slegers’ side beat Bristol City and London City Lionesses to reach the quarter-finals, and now face league rivals for the first time in Liverpool, who recently parted company with manager Matt Beard.

“They changed formation and the way they did things in the game against Crystal Palace,” Slegers said of interim manager Amber Whiteley’s first game in charge.

“And we have to be ready to exploit that but at the same time we know they’ve been playing in another formation in a different style with Matt Beard, who has done an incredible job I think.

“We’ll see what they think suits the game on Sunday, what they’re going to come with, and we pride ourselves on problem solving as a group - staff and players - so that’s something we’re going to have to do really well on Sunday.”
