Arsenal 2-2 Liverpool:
The visitors Mohamed Salah rescued a late point for Liverpool against their injury-stricken hosts in an enthralling clash at the Emirates on Sunday.
Salah earned Liverpool a late 2-2 draw at Arsenal after the Gunners took an early lead through fit again Buyako Saka on nine minutes.
That was prior to Reds captain Virgil Van Dijk equalising from Luis Diaz' corner.
In an entertaining match between these two title heavyweights Mikel Merino’s first goal for Arsenal restored the hosts’ lead.
However, Salah earns point for Arnie Slot's side on 81 minutes following a swift break.
The point sees Arsenal move back into third spot, ahead of Aston Villa in fourth, but five points behind leaders Manchester City, and four behind Sunday's opponents Liverpool.
Plenty of positives to take from a point vs Liverpool with Arsenal ending the match without their two first choice centre-backs, an 18-year-old at left-back, a midfielder at right-back and a 17-year-old in attack. I think that should be wholeheartedly applauded pic.twitter.com/4pV8kTlejt
