Arsenal Champions League Odds and Predictions

Upon Arsenal’s return to the Champions League for the 2024/25 season, fans are excited and there is plenty of speculation around their odds and potential performance. 

The upcoming game on Tuesday, October 22nd, sees Arsenal facing Shakhtar Donetsk at the Emirates Stadium. On paper, Arsenal is heavily favoured to secure a victory. Girona’s compact and organised defence could present problems for Arsenal, especially if they’re dealing with fatigue from their busy schedule. However, Arsenal’s superior quality should see them through. If they remain in good form, they should be able to secure the points needed to move forward in the competition. 

Should Arsenal come away with favourable results in these next few fixtures, they will be well on their way to qualifying for the knockout rounds. Still, the group remained tight, and even one slip-up could derail their progress. 

As for Arsenal’s odds of winning the tournament outright, they currently sit at 17/2, which makes them the third favourites to lift the trophy in May. They might not be the leading contenders, but Arsenal’s combination of youth, talent, and tactical versatility under Mikel Arteta makes them a dark horse in this year’s competition.
