Arsenal U21 vs Manchester United U21: Premier League 2 preview 

Mehmet Ali's Arsenal U21 side host Man Utd U21s at Meadow Park on Friday evening 

The club's young guns being their 2024-25 PL2 league campaign with an eagerly-awaited clash against Manchester United U21s on Friday evening (August 16) at Meadow Park.

Ahead of the mouth-watering fixture the club said: "We aim to begin the season on a strong note, with hopes of achieving progress, development and success throughout the year."

Man Utd

United U21s ended last term in 12th spot in Premier League 2, posting eight wins and five draws, with seven defeats.

When Arsenal U21s last faced United back in May, Ali's side routed their opponents 6-2 victory in the last-16 of the Premier League 2 Division One playoffs.

United have had better luck during this pre-season when they beat Chester earlier this summer, with Gabriele Biancheri netting a brace and James Bailey adding a late goal to seal the result.
