After the success of the pilot digital Gooner Fanzine, dedicated to Arsenal Women, the first of four issues this season is out on Friday, featuring a variety of AWFC writers and contributors.

With an increased 68 pages of exclusive content, it’s the perfect read while travelling to a game, sitting in the stands before kick-off or perhaps while enjoying one of our Arsenal Women podcasts.

The brilliant Sarah Pollard has created the front cover, featuring a number of Arsenal players, and everyone’s favourite chocolate labrador, Win!

This issue’s exclusive interview sees former Arsenal striker Jo Churchman reflect on her time playing for the Gunners under legendary manager Vic Akers in the 1990s.

Our team of contributors have expanded, with the likes of Nancy Gillen and Laura Howard coming aboard, as well as Lumi Lehmuskallio, Joseph Rosedon, Lily Young and Sophie Puodzius.

Household names such as Daisy Goodhand, Claudia Loy, Jamie Spangher, Emily Herbert and Liberty Simons all provide passionate opinion and analysis, complemented by the stunning photography of Suzy Lycett, who also writes about some of the quandaries faced by Arsenal’s fanbase.

Ruth Beck Art and Hugo Menguy also feature on the creative side of things, whilst copy editor Freddie Cardy takes you behind the scenes in press boxes from North London to Sweden.

The fanzine remains digital only, and free of charge, whilst retaining its iconic Gooner style online through the production wizardry of Serge Braga Mullin and tireless work of Layth Yousif.

To be among the first to read 68 pages of opinionated, intelligent and colourful Arsenal Women content, subscribe to the Gooner Fanzine email newsletter, and it will drop into your inbox on Friday.

Fans can also pick up collectible cards along with Issue 307 of the Gooner, which will be sold outside Arsenal Tube ahead of the Gunners’ crucial clash with Chelsea on Saturday.

NEW! Subscribe to our weekly Gooner Fanzine newsletter for all the latest news, views, and videos from the intelligent voice of Arsenal supporters since 1987.
