Bukayo Saka injury: England boss Lee Carsley provides update after Arsenal star limps off during defeat to Greece
Arsenal attacker was forced off six minutes into second-half against Greece
The Gunners 23-year-old attacker suffered an injury to his right leg during the Three Lions dismal defeat at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.
Arsenal academy graduate Saka held the back of his right leg before eventually sitting on the turf, after Greece opened the scoring through Vangelis Pavlidis.
England interim head coach Lee Carsley said: "He’s being assessed.
"Obviously in the build-up to the first goal, you can see he felt something in his leg.”
The Arsenal forward was replaced in the 51st minute by Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side lost captain Martin Odegaard during the previous international break and has yet to play again, follwing his injury playing for Norway last month.
Arteta's side return to Premier League action on Saturday, October 19 when they take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
