Full time: Bayern Munich 5-2 Arsenal. A humiliating European night for the Gunners and Jonas Eidevall.
87' That might have been the worst of the five goals that Arsenal have conceded. Zinsberger fumbled Harder's first effort straight into her path. 5-2
86' Goal! Harder completes her hat-trick and this game has gone from bad to embarrassing for Jonas Eidevall and Arsenal. Again, the defence is torn through and Bayern have five. 5-2
85' Arsenal have showed no real signs of getting back into this game. Williamson's deep cross is claimed by Grohs and Bayern can run the clock down. 4-2
79' Cooney-Cross and Kafaji come on for Walti and Foord. 4-2
78' Goal! Harder is unmarked again and Bayern have scored a third header. 4-2 and the home side could be out of sight now.
77' Should Arsenal fall to defeat it'll be one win in their last six Champions League away games (qualifiers included). 3-2
73' Little did not mark Harder closely enough and that's a great header away from Zinsberger into the far corner. 3-2
73' Goal! Bayern retake the lead through Pernille Harder! Arsenal are undone by another header. 3-2
70' Schuller, Dallman and Kerr on for Lohmann, Damnjanovic and Zadrazil for Bayern. 2-2
68' Russo also replaced Blackstenius upfront. 2-2
66' Mead and Catley on for Maanum and McCabe- Caldentey in the number ten role. 2-2
65' GOAL! McCabe's corner is headed home by Laia Codina! Arsenal equalise! 2-2
62' Harder cuts past Fox and finds the side-netting via a deflection. Not often you see Fox beaten that easily. 2-1
60' Both goals conceded have seen Bayern have good spells and then capitalise, and Arsenal's defence had to be more switched on there. Now an uphill task for an Arsenal side who were very good for 40-odd minutes. 2-1
57' Far too much space for Lohmann in the box there after being played in by Buhl. It had been coming. 2-1
56' Goal! Lohmann drives past Zinsberger at her near post as Bayern again hit Arsenal on the break, and they have turned the game on its head. 2-1
54' Simon again takes aim from range as Bayern catch Arsenal off guard on the turnover. Straight at Zinsberger this time. 1-1
49' Bayern are on top here! Just wide from the head of Harder, who rose well but couldn't get it on target. 1-1
46' Just 25 seconds in, Simon takes aim with a low driven finish from 30 yards that is deflected narrowly wide. 1-1
46' The second half is underway. 1-1
Looks like both teams are unchanged for the second half.
Both sides are out warming up at half-time with Rosa Kafaji doing some showboat-y keepie-ups. Ian Wright was very critical that the Swede wasn't introduced to try and break the deadlock on Sunday against Everton.
Arsenal shaded the first half but were undone by Vigosdottir's header shortly before the interval. Caldentey gave Arsenal the lead with a cushioned volley in what has been an intriguing game so far.
Half time: Bayern Munich 1-1 Arsenal
45+1' Three added minutes. 1-1
43' Goal! Vigosdottir equalises and Bayern do make use of their little attacking spell. She beats Blackstenius comprehensively with a looping header that nestles in off the crossbar. 1-1
42' Zinsberger pushes Gwinn's shot away, Bayern cross again and Maanum has to clear. Bayern enjoying a good spell before half-time. 0-1
41' Walti does well to clear from the resulting free-kick, which bounded awkwardly in the box. 0-1
40' Codina is turning into McCabe with these yellow cards- booked for a foul on Harder on the counter-attack. 0-1
37' Maanum's flick is wide of the target as Arsenal continue to push forward. Did look offside however from Williamson's deep cross. 0-0
32' Arsenal have been bright in attack and that's a really good goal to score, Caldentey drifting centrally and finishing with a clever cushioned volley. They're good value for a 1-0 lead.
30' Goal! Mariona Caldentey puts Arsenal in front, volleying McCabe's cross past Grohs! 0-1
28' Gwinn is able to continue with a slight limp. 0-0
26' Gwinn receives treatment after being caught by the studs of Foord. Both sides take some instructions on board as the Bayern fans make a load of noise all of a sudden! 0-0
25' Midway through the first half and you'd say Arsenal are shading it, with Jonas Eidevall's side creating the better chances. Some cleverly worked attacking moves so far. 0-0
22' Caldentey gives the ball away and Bayern break through Buhl, before Walti pickpockets Damnjanovic from nowhere to win it back. 0-0
20' How has that not gone in? The corner is swung into the near post and Bayern make a meal of the clearance, which almost trickles over the line. 0-0
19' Clever ball in behind by Caldentey, Blackstenius timed her run in behind and Bayern had to clear for a corner. 0-0
18' Great work by Foord who sends three players the wrong way and shoots wide of the near post. 0-0
14' In fact it's McCabe who swings the ball in, Codina turns it towards goal and Grohs saves. Just didn't quite get the power. 0-0
13' Free-kick for Arsenal after Caldentey is tripped by Simon. Fox leaves it for Maanum... 0-0
10' And Maanum does the exact same thing with the same result- straight at Grohs! 0-0
9' Stanway goes for goal from 25 yards and her effort is well hit but straight into the hands of Zinsberger. 0-0
7' Looks like a 4-4-2 for Bayern, with Damnjanovic and Harder leading the line. 0-0
5' Harder jinks into the box unopposed and Arsenal clear away from Buhl before she could get a shot off. 0-0
3' Caldentey has started on the right wing with Foord on the left. 0-0
1' We are underway in Munich as Arsenal kick off their Champions League group stage! 0-0
Arsenal had to work incredibly hard to be here, progressing through four qualifying games to make the group stage. Bayern were straight in as German champions.
Here come the teams! Arsenal are in their black away kit for the first time, with Bayern in red and white.
Right then, kick-off is only a few minutes away. Arsenal simply must improve from Sunday's goalless draw against Everton, and they will be tested against one of the best sides on the continent.
Of course, Arsenal turned that tie around, with Frida Maanum scoring probably one of the best goals in the Gunners' history before Stina Blackstenius netted the winner.
In case you were wondering, Bayern are hosting Arsenal at the FC Bayern Campus, rather than the magnificent Allianz Arena, where they beat the Gunners in the 2022/23 quarter final first leg.
And here's Jonas Eidevall, who spoke about drawing on the experience of the last time Arsenal made the group stage: "I think we were playing in a similar group two seasons ago, when we had Lyon, Juventus, and FC Zurich. Both Lyon and Juventus were top teams in that group. And the first game, we started away against Lyon, and we managed to win 5-1, and it was really setting us up nicely. And then we won the group, which is a great way to go into the quarter-finals. So yes, it is really important to get results. I think it's really important to get off to a good start, not only results-wise, but also performance-wise, because, as you mentioned before, we turned around that quarter-final against Bayern Munich at home, but I think we had a second half in that away game that really showed a nice performance where we were really brave and qualitative in a way that we played.
Here's what Lia Walti had to say about kicking off the group stage against Bayern: “I think the Champions League is a competition we all want to win. It’s the biggest stage, again you can compete against the best players in the world, against the best teams. I do think and I believe we belong there, and I do think we have the quality to be competing, to win that trophy one day with the team we have, and I think why not this season? Why not having a good start tomorrow against Bayern Munich, which is probably going to be the toughest opponent in our group. I’m looking forward to it, I’m really excited for it and glad for the team that we’re back on that stage.”

Arsenal's starting eleven this evening averages out at the age of 28.6 years- a lot of experience to draw upon. Manu Zinsberger returns to her former club.
Interestingly, both sides have huge league games coming up this weekend. Arsenal are at home to Chelsea, whilst Bayern travel to Wolfsburg, although they are fourth and five points behind Bayern- and lost to Roma last night
Bayern won 1-0 at home to FC Koln on Saturday, with Klara Buhl scoring the only goal. Alexander Straus' side are two points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
Stina Blackstenius will rekindle her partnership with Frida Maanum upfront, whilst Leah Williamson and Lia Walti come back into the side, replacing Lotte Wubben-Moy and Kyra Cooney-Cross. Manu Zinsberger returns in goal.
