Full time: Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal.
90+7' Walti fires just over the crossbar after Arsenal's corner broke to her- so close! 1-1
90+5' Great work by Kafaji to bully Williams off the ball and send Blackstenius forward, but United win back possession. 1-1
90+2' The corner falls to Blackstenius before Hurtig finds Williamson, and her header is straight at the goalkeeper. 1-1
90+2' Record attendance for Man United at Leigh Sports Village of 8,348. Blackstenius' cross is flicked behind for a corner. 1-1
90+1' Six added minutes. United, somehow, are on top. 0-1
88' Cooney-Cross, Kafaji and Hurtig are introduced. 1-1
87. Katie McCabe is booked and then there's some afters with Geyse, before the Brazilian is also shown yellow. A moment of headloss there. 1-1
82' Goal. Malard draws United level with their first real attack of the second half, getting a tiny glance past van Domselaar from Williams' header. 1-1
80' Williamson is sent flying into the Arsenal dugout by the strength of Williams. Luckily, she's ok to continue. 0-1
78' Boos from the home fans as the goalscorer Russo is withdrawn for Blackstenius. 0-1
77' Double change for United as Geyse and Williams come on for Terland and Bizet. Kitchen, meet sink. 0-1
76' Little drives forward after dispossessing Clinton but the attack slows down. If that wasn't a fair tackle, the Scot is on a yellow card... 0-1
69' The confidence is oozing from Russo now and she takes aim from range, flashing the ball wide. 0-1
67' United have been very poor and now have to chase the game having sat increasingly deeper in this second half. Arsenal look good but the home side have offered very little. 0-1
64' Lovely ball in behind from Mariona into Fox, and Russo's first-time finish beats Tullis-Joyce down low. Both her and Arsenal deserve that breakthrough. 0-1
63' GOAL! Alessia Russo finally scores against her former club, and opens her account for the season! 1-0 to the Arsenal!
61' Two changes for United as Riviere and Malard replace Mannion and Toone. 0-0
57' Free-kick for Arsenal by the byline on the right side of the box. Turner pulled Russo back for a good few seconds and only let go when the penalty area came into view. Yellow card. 0-0
55' Nearly a Lia Walti special! Left-footed from the edge of the 'D' and her effort hits the post. 0-0
50' Another chance for Russo who heads straight at Tullis-Joyce. Had loads of space in between the two centre-backs. 0-0
47' Wide from Russo on the turn after she found space in the box. Brilliant dummy from Caldentey to set her up. 0-0
46' The second half is underway. 0-0
Beth Mead replaces Frida Maanum. A little surprised she's been taken off!
Beth Mead will come on...
Many would have expected a tougher challenge from Manchester United this afternoon and it's a big half-time talk for Marc Skinner. His side have the players out there to hurt Arsenal but they've looked far too isolated in attack.
Arsenal the better side and have put some good moves together, just lacking a bit of decisiveness in the final third at times. United have been passive and not offered much going forward.
Half-time: Man United 0-0 Arsenal
45' Caldentey's cross just evades Foord at the back post as appeals for a penalty are waved away. 0-0
44' It's been a very quiet first half for Arsenal's defence who have looked relatively calm at the back, particularly in possession. United have looked too one-dimensional in attack. 0-0
41' Sarina Wiegman is in attendance at Leigh Sports Village. 0-0
37' And now Tullis-Joyce has to adjust well to deny Foord. Maanum's cross was floated to the back post but Foord couldn't sort her feet. 0-0
34' Van Domselaar is called into action to save from Terland after Turner had switched the ball nicely to Bizet. Routine stop in the end. 0-0
30' Now it's Russo who can cross from the left but Maanum makes a meal of the shot at the back post. 0-0
29' Terland pulls back Catley before failing to find the target with a difficult header. The referee blows for a free-kick. 0-0
26' And now Maanum heads past the far post from Caldentey's deep cross from the left. Some good play from Arsenal. 0-0
25' Maanum does well and her left-footed cross threatened to find the far corner. It's nodded behind by Turner. 0-0
23' Good defending by Mannion who uses her strength well against Mariona in the penalty area. A quiet spell in this game. 0-0
18' Arsenal have pressed well and often won the ball back after United had failed to clear their lines. It's been a high tempo start to this game. 0-0
17' Good combination between Russo and Maanum but the latter's cross comes to nothing. 0-0
12' Close! Russo's shot is deflected just over the crossbar after Bizet gifted Arsenal possession. 0-0
9' Walti jinks into the box and United have to head away a couple of Arsenal crosses before Little is booked for pulling back Terland on the counter. 0-0
8' Now Russo finds space and her effort is narrowly wide after McCabe took a quick throw-in! 0-0
6' Now Toone takes aim from range but van Domselaar can save easily. Good pressure there from United to dispossess Maanum. 0-0
4' Early pressure as Turner heads behind from a corner via a deflection. 0-0
1' Underway! 0-0
Here come the teams! We're at Leigh Sports Village, rather than Old Trafford, by the way.
It's 3rd vs 5th in the WSL, with Arsenal looking to overlap United and return into the Champions League spots.
Marc Skinner speaking to the BBC: "We're at home in front of our fans and we're going to make it a really difficult place to come like everybody finds, I'm expecting a really competitive game."
Renee Slegers on whether she's had talks with Arsenal over becoming the next head coach: "No discussions. They're working hard in the background, solving the situation. For me it's only about this game here now."
Marc Skinner on the other hand takes charge of his 100th game as Manchester United manager.
Slegers confirmed on Friday that she will be in charge until the next international break, five games, starting with this trip to Leigh. The managerial window will become a little more accessible come the end of this month- the NWSL season in America comes to an end, as do leagues in Scandinavia, for example.
Interestingly, Eight players (van Domselaar, McCabe, Fox, Walti, Little, Mariona, Foord, Russo) have started in all three of Renee Slegers' matches as interim manager, and that continuity remains this afternoon up against Manchester United.
One area Arsenal will likely look to exploit, as has been the case in previous meetings though, will be on the flanks. Lacasse tormented United at the Emirates last year and Caldentey and Foord, plus players like Mead and Kafaji from the bench, will be pivotal.
Clinton, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham, has found the net on three occasions, whilst summer signing Terland hitted a brace against Spurs.
One thing to keep an eye on is how the midfield battle pans out, with Little and Walti far from their best in recent games, up against another experienced pair in Naalsund and Janssen.
Arsenal's defence could well be kept busy, with Clinton, Toone and Bizet behind Terland upfront.
Arsenal are without Lotte Wubben-Moy, who missed England's narrow win over South Africa due to injury. Steph Catley keeps her place at centre-back alongside Williamson.
United subs: Middleton-Patel, Riviere, Watson, Ladd, Awujo, Miyazawa, Geyse, Malard, Williams.
Man United: Tullis-Joyce; George, Turner, Le Tissier, Mannion; Janssen, Naalsund; Clinton, Toone, Bizet; Terland.
Arsenal subs: Zinsberger, Codina, Reid, Kuhl, Cooney-Cross, Mead, Kafaji, Hurtig, Blackstenius.
Arsenal: Van Domselaar; McCabe, Catley, Williamson, Fox; Walti, Little; Mariona, Maanum, Foord; Russo.
Arsenal have made just one change from the 2-0 win at West Ham last time out, with Leah Williamson replacing Laia Codina.
There's so much to talk about, but let's start with the team news, shall we?
Good morning! The Women's Super League is back after a very busy international break, and today's action starts with a mouthwatering affair at Leigh Sports Village.
