1. Alessia Russo has her mojo back.

After a barren run towards the start of the season, she has really found form as of late. As well as scoring in the Champions League in the game against Valerenga, she has scored in the last three WSL games now. She held up the ball well and looked confident and took her goal extremely well. That wasn’t an easy finish.

2. Caldentey is the playmaker of the team

Her ability to provide a killer through ball was on full display for Arsenal’s third goal. Her technical level is so high and she really has individual quality which can always make the difference at any time. It did today. She reminded me of Cesc Fabregas or Martin Odegaard on the men’s side and is really classy in everything she does..

3. Arsenal look much more fluid in attack.

Both number 9s are scoring, and  we are moving the ball around so well. We attacked centrally and did one touch passing in and around the box which Spurs couldn’t handle. Instead of flinging in crosses, we were much more composed. I thought it was great to see the relationships between players such as Foord and Fox for example.
