Arsenal youngsters head to head vs PSG
The Arsenal academy has faced PSG before in the UEFA Youth League, during the 2016-17 group stages, with a 0-0 draw in Paris and a thrilling 2-2 draw at home.
Ironically, at the same time, the Arsenal first team, led by then boss Arsene Wenger, drew 2-2 at the Parc de Princes, before a 0-0 draw back at the Emirates, against the Parisians, led by a certain Unai Emery.
PSG have participated in every edition of the UEFA Youth League since the tournament's inception in the 2013/14 season.
Their best performance came in the 2015/16 campaign when they finished as runners-up, narrowly losing 2-1 to Chelsea in the final.
That PSG squad included future stars such as Christopher Nkunku, now a Chelsea forward, and Odsonne Edouard, currently at Leicester City.
In contrast, last season proved to be a disappointment for PSG as they were eliminated in the group stage. Despite securing two wins, they suffered four losses in their six group games, finishing at the bottom of their group.
