The 2024-25 Premier League season is set to be a fearsome one.

Manchester City are searching for their fifth title on the bounce, Liverpool have started a new journey with Arne Slot, and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal look set to once again push Manchester City to the finish line.

However, there’s still uncertainty as to whether Arsenal can finally land their first Premier League title since 2004.

In the two decades following 2004, a lot has changed for Arsenal. The club moved to the iconic Emirates stadium, Arsène Wenger left the club in 2018 after a 22-year tenure, and Unai Emery’s reign quickly came crashing down in 2019. When this happened, Arsenal officially hit rock bottom. Shortly after, though, the arrival of Mikel Arteta in December 2019 kickstarted a new, exciting, and highly prosperous era for the Gunners — and they haven’t looked back since.

During Mikel Arteta’s 5 years with Arsenal, the club have won an FA Cup, returned to the Champions League, and (most importantly) become legitimate title contenders. The 2022-23 Premier League season even saw Arsenal go 8 points clear of City at one stage, although a dip in form at the latter end of the season saw them miss out on the trophy by 5 points. In the 2023-24 season, they got even closer, this time losing by 2 points. So, will the 2024/-5 campaign finally be third time lucky for Mikel Arteta’s men? Let’s find out.

Will Arsenal Win the Premier League 2024/25? Betting Odds and More

Heading into the Premier League 2024-25 campaign, Arsenal have a great chance of beating Manchester City for the title.

Despite just two signings this summer in David Raya (who spent last season on loan with Arsenal) and Riccardo Calafiori, the club has a squad that’s more than strong enough to push Manchester City to the limit again.

With a newly bolstered defense, a midfield containing Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard, and an attacking trio of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz, years of planning have created an excellent title-winning foundation.

Now, it’s a case of whether or not Arteta can get the most out of his squad and mastermind a way to surpass Pep’s City side, who have yet to make any statement signings this summer and also have the weight of 115 FFP charges looming over them.

All of the major sportsbooks, from bet365 to Sky Bet, have Manchester City down as the outright favorites to win the 2024/25 Premier League at 6/5 odds. Arsenal come in slightly higher with 15/8 odds. This is interesting, as there’s only a small difference between the odds, showing that the expectation is Manchester City and Arsenal will enter their third head-to-head title race on the bounce. Here’s what betting analyst Alex Windsor from the low deposit betting sites guide, MinimumDepositBettingSites, predicts what will happen this season:

“All signs point to another exciting title race between Arsenal and Manchester City.

"During the season, there’s also a very strong chance that City could receive some kind of points deduction if they’re found guilty of the 115 FFP charges.

"In this case, it would blow the doors wide open for Arsenal to clinch the Premier League title, with the only potential roadblock being Liverpool.

"And even if City don’t have any points deducted, Arsenal are more than capable of pushing them to the finish line once again. Let’s wait and see what happens.”

How to Bet on Arsenal to Win the Premier League

If you think that Arsenal will beat Manchester City for the 2024-25 Premier League title, you might want to bet on it. This is something you can easily do by joining any of the major sportsbooks, such as bet365, Sky Bet, or Paddy Power. After joining your chosen sportsbook, go to the ‘Outrights’ part of the 2024-25 Premier League section, select Arsenal to win the Premier League, and place your wager. There’s no guarantee that Arsenal will win the league this season, but the chances of them successfully doing it are higher than ever. And if you don’t want to bet on them to be the title winners, an ultra-safe bet is for Arsenal to make the top 4 at 1/6 odds.

Summary

Will Arsenal finally win the Premier League title under Mikel Arteta? We’ll have to wait and see.

One thing is for certain: this is the strongest Arsenal have been since 2004 and there’s every chance that Manchester City could experience a major dip in form.

Arteta will also have to be extremely tactile, stay on top of the intense fixtures schedule, and master the art of squad rotation.

If everything falls into place, then you could be seeing a title parade in North London next year.
